This pack equips a hive with the connected hive scale function, GPS hive anti-theft function, internal hive thermometer/hygrometer function, and ultra-local weather station function.
The connected hive scale for pallets is light and miniaturized in comparison with its capacity to measure up to 600 kg. Its professional quality suits the needs of beekeepers: to be able to move easily by way of a crane to achieve high yields of loading and moving the hives. The beekeeper will be able to detect and characterize the honey flow as well as the feeding needs.
Free of wire, the connected scale of hive pallet is installed in a few minutes. The beekeeper first places support at a reasonable level (such as a pallet or planks). Then, he places 2 independent weight sensors (not connected by wires). The beekeeper then places the hive pallet on the hive scales with a crane or forklift.
That’s all that’s required. The GPS anti-theft transmitter and brood thermometer and hygrometer can be installed directly in the hive on a frame. The GPS transmitter can be installed in a different hive than the one equipped with the connected hive scale. The weather station is installed on a post near the hives. Every hour, it measures rainfall, temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure. The weather station can act as a transmitter for the hive scales and other sensors installed in the apiary.
By configuring through the application, the connected scales reading function, the GPS anti-theft hive or weather station automatically detects the connected hive scales present in the apiary and retrieves the data measured by the thermometer, hygrometer, and the connected hive scale every hour. It then transmits all this information twice a day at the chosen times. In the event the hive is moved, the GPS anti-theft device detects this and sends an SMS alert to the beekeeper, during the movement regular locations are transmitted and visible on the apiary management application.
A few minutes after movement stops, the new location is also transmitted. For security, the weather station is equipped with a GPS locator. The pack includes one year of access to the apiary management application which allows beekeepers to visualize all the data collected by the weather station, the GPS hive alarm, the connected hive scale, and the brood thermometer. Thus, the beekeeper can see the weather conditions at the same time as the potential impact on the activity of the hive.
This apiary software integrates functions of monitoring the entire beekeeping practice and a register of breeding in digital format: visits and interventions, transhumance, harvesting, and much more.

Operation of the GPS anti-theft system
If the hive is disturbed or moved -> Alarm mode An SMS alert is sent to the owner GPS location every 5 to 10 minutes during the movement When the movement stops, GPS location of the stop point + SMS The whole path is available and exportable from the application.
Installation of the GPS anti-theft device
To be installed on a frame at half height by cutting the wax or in the thickness of the walls, or in partitions, feeders, etc.
Installation of the connected hive scale
The beekeeper first places a first support reasonably level (a pallet, planks for example). Then places two independent weight sensors (no wired connection needed). The beekeeper then places the hive pallet on the hive scales with a crane or forklift.
Installation of the weather station
Secured on a tube, post, or stake Support clamps: max diameter 40 mm Integrated levelling bubble, to level Button for send transmission, collect the scales, and locate
